12.03.09:  Early morning - 05:20 to be precise - and ‘Vale of Ffestiniog’, running light engine, becomes the first train to cross Britannia Bridge on the new WHR Cross-Town Link...
12.03.09:  A little later (05:37) - ’Vale of Ffestiniog’ takes the first loco-hauled train across Britannia Bridge, consisting of WHR carriages 2100 and 2060 being moved to Dinas, plus FR Carr. 111 to carry staff members...
12.03.09:  After waiting alongside the main town car park, ‘Vale of Ffestiniog’ heads the stock transfer train onto the Snowdon Street Crossing at 06:08...
12.03.09:  The driver was obeying the sign – honestly!  Even shooting at 1600ASA (hence the poor quality) it was impossible to ‘freeze’ the loco as it was still very dark...
12.03.09:  The stock transfer train was then parked between Y Cwt and Portmadoc New.  John Peduzzi and Ben Rosen stayed with the train until the time came to cross the Cambrian Coast line...
12.03.09:  The concrete pillars of the old Portmadoc New water-tower can be seen in front of the train...
12.03.09:  Cae Pawb Crossing – a possession of the Cambrian Coast line took effect at 10:45, after this train has passed, allowing the stock transfer train to continue on its way...
